Parks and Open Space
There are a variety of parks and open spaces throughout the Pelican Waters master planned community. The newest edition is Scribbly Gum Park in the precinct of Waterside, a signature all-ages, all-abilities recreation and relaxation 1 hectare destination for the entire community.
Scribbly Gum Park complements an extensive and carefully planned network of parks in the Pelican Waters community. From the Joan Ford Park featuring water playgrounds and barbeque facilities to the exercise equipment nestled into the Boronia Grove Park, embracing the great outdoors as a family has never been more enticing.
A picket fenced cricket pitch in Judy Henzell Park and children’s playgrounds are scattered throughout the estate. The Northern Lakes precinct offers a spectacular waterfront park and to the west, there is a 34-hecare environment park incorporating nature walks, cycle trails and dedicated areas for viewing kangaroos and other wildlife.
A 3 hectare village park will be located on the town centre island and other smaller parks and open spaces will be provided all connecting kilometres of cycle/pedestrian paths and the walkable waterfront paths.
