Aerial Treatment # 2
Please be advised that due to the tidal inundations experienced this week, Sunshine Coast Council will be conducting its second aerial mosquito treatment for the season, commencing 8am Thursday 17th of November from the Caloundra Airport.
The following mosquito breeding sites within the Pumicestone Passage Catchment will be targeted:
• Bribie Island North
• Halls Bay
• Coochin Creek
• Hussey Creek
• Glasshouse Mountain Creek
• Goat Island
• Bells Creek
• Westaway Creek
• Long Island
The contractor, McDermott Aviation, will be applying Methoprene, Prosand @ 4.0kg per hectare.
