DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY AT PELICAN WATERS IS HEATING UP FOR SUMMER, WITH STRONG PROGRESS BEING MADE AT THE NEW MARINA, MARINA VILLAGE AND ISLAND PRECINCTS.
Our final waterfront lots at The Quays created a buzz in the market, with all but one deep-water access and park-view homesites now sold. Watch this space for a new take on urban waterfront living as construction unfolds over the next 12 months and the contemporary, low maintenance two-storey terrace homes take shape.
With bridge construction linking the existing development to the emerging island project due for completion by Christmas, the focus now shifts to the upcoming land release in mid-2020. This will offer a wide mix of waterfront, park-view and terrace lots to cater to all tastes.
Construction will soon be underway at the new island display village featuring a walkable foreshore, seven waterfront homes, four dry lots and a collection of terrace product, providing plenty of inspiration for future buyers.
One thing we are committed to at Pelican Waters is always raising the bar in terms of the quality of residential and lifestyle infrastructure as well as built form. The new display village will set the tone, showcasing the finest award-winning local builders while our upcoming Signature Terrace Collection will go above and beyond what is being done elsewhere with solid block wall construction and a host of up-spec features. The Sydney Avenue display village is now closed.

At the time of reading, land is expected to be completed for the signature terraces and pricing will be available, providing an exciting lifestyle option for downsizers and those in search of minimal maintenance.
This summer should also see strong progress made on the remainder of the Stage 4 subdivision, including completing the missing links in the coastal path circumnavigating the community and soon to connect to the Sunshine Coast’s longest shared pathway and boardwalk project stretching from Pelican Waters in the south to Tewantin in the north.
Rounding out Stage 4 will be a second bridge linking the island with Michael Street and Golden Beach, the new lock and weir system, pedestrian bridge and approximately 200 new residential lots catering for the full spectrum of property types.
A mini-milestone has been reached with the recent opening of the nautical themed marina park featuring interactive play equipment and sandstone block shoreline. This is the first glimpse of what’s to come when it links to the planned 1.5ha of lakeside parkland incorporating modern amenities, barbecues and other leisure infrastructure.
You might have also noticed that construction is now powering ahead on the community’s first purpose-built vertical retirement village at the intersection of Coral Sea Drive and Pelican Waters Blvd. The state-of-the-art 60 unit project by the Oak Tree Group is expected to welcome its first residents in 2020.
